Environmental issues affect all life on earth and not just human life – we believe that these issues transcend any social, economic, or political problem on Earth. After all, if the ecosystem collapses, human life and economy will be negatively affected from shortages in natural resources and adverse changes in climate.
No earth – no us.
Initially focusing on creating happiness through creativity, with sustainability as a means to an end, we are refocusing our brand direction. From now on, sustainability is our core focus, with happiness being a long-term result of making the world a better place.
Our manifesto relies on the concepts of eco-design and circular economy:
- Our product design will factor into account each product’s life cycle, from manufacture to transportation, to the product’s end of life. It will be a priority to use resources in a responsible manner, with a lower consumption of energy, and with the creation of less pollution.
- Where appropriate, recycled materials will be used in order to reduce the dependence on new resources.
- Each product will be designed to be recyclable at the end of its life.
- We endeavor to collaborate with organizations that support sustainable practices.
While we believe we are in the midst of an environmental crisis, we are optimistic about making a change for the sake of our Earth – it’s not too late if we all make a change together.
As the saying goes, “The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago – the second best time is now”.
